iTunes won't let go of cached artwork

I have an album I reimported (better mastered version). I've also updated the artwork which shows correctly for each individual track, but the artwork in the songs view column is still the old version. I've deleted the Album Artwork Cache folder. I've tried many times to select all tracks and delete artwork, and then add artwork back. Tried reformatting artwork. Only thing that works is changing album title which I don't want to do.

Does anyone know where iTunes holds onto this, if it isn't in the Cache folder?

Could it be because it is one of the worst album covers of all time (Gino Vannelli - Storm At Sunup)??:)

    Thanks for any help!

First, this is probably a penalty for having that album in your iTunes library. :)

Have you restarted your computer since you deleted the cache folder?
