Theater Review: Doctor Faustus, Christopher Marlowe, at the Royal Shakespeare Company
Agree with you totally on this review. Very short, visceral and physical production which left me pondering it for days.
Indeed. I waited a few days before writing the review, in fact, because I needed to internalize it. Did you see the same actor as Faustus, or the other one?
I saw the same actor as you. It is difficult to imagine it the other way around, but then I would probably say that if I had seen Gierson. Would be very interesting to see both productions. It must take a lot of courage to go on stage and not know which character you are playing that night.
Indeed. I would love to see it again, and get Gierson, but with my luck I'd get the same Faustus.
Our next show is The Alchemist, in early August, then the Two Noble Kinsmen. But I'm _really_ looking forward to Lear!
